Cullen was born and raised in Southeast Texas before getting his BBA in Business Management from Southwest Texas State University in 2003. He then graduated from the Thurgood Marshall School of Law in 2009. Cullen joined the US Army Reserve in 2011 and served in multiple capacities for eleven years before retiring in 2022. He was mobilized twice to Colorado, and then once each to Oklahoma and Germany. He was able to serve on shorter missions to Hawaii, Korea, and two other tours in Germany. Most recently he served as the legal advisor to the 7th Psychological Operations Group in Moffett Field, CA. He spent six years in El Paso before moving back to “normal” Texas in June 2022. He runs his solo law practice with a motto of “Veteran Focused” where 95% of the cases are assisting US Veterans in obtaining their proper disability ratings from the US Department of Veterans Affairs. Cullen is excited to raise his two children in Longview and make East Texas home.
