Derek Phillips

Meet Derek.

Derek Phillips is a Veteran of the United States Army. While on active duty, he served as an Infantryman assigned to the 3d United States Infantry Regiment (The Old Guard) as a Casket Team Leader at Arlington National Cemetery. He also served on many specialized details including Presidential missions at the White House, ceremonial missions with foreign heads of state at the Pentagon, and missions to Dover Air Force Base for the dignified transfer of remains for our service members killed in action overseas. After leaving active duty, he enlisted in the United States Army Reserve where he served as a Squad Leader in the 721st Engineer Company and was named Non-Commissioned Officer of the year.

Upon completion of his service, Derek and his wife Amanda moved from the D.C. metro area to Longview to start their family. They have two amazing children: Barrett and Piper. After their return, Derek attended LeTourneau University where he received a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration. He is currently the Director of Operations and Business Development for JOTS Rentals in Longview, Texas.
